EPS Manufacturing Process
1st Stage: Pre-expansion
The raw material is heated in pre-expanders. The raw material's compact beads turn into cellular plastic beads.
2nd Stage: Maturing
On cooling, the particles form a vacuum that must be compensated for by air diffusion.
3rd Stage: Final Moulding
The stabilized pre-expanded beads are transported to moulds where they bind together to obtain either a large block that is later cut or products in their final finishing shape.
